The Hamburger Sparkasse AG (Haspa) was founded more than 180 years ago in 1827. Today we are the market-leading bank in the Hamburg metropolitan area as well as the largest German Sparkasse.
We are the bank for every second Hamburg citizen, our clientele amounts to 1.4 million private customers. With approx. 60,000 corporate customers we are the leading bank for medium-sized businesses in the region. Our Haspa Private Banking, that is in charge for the exclusive consultancy of our most prosperous customers, has been prized as the best asset management in the German-speaking area eight times in a row.
