Hamburger Sparkasse AG is the largest savings bank in Germany with a balance sheet total of about Euro 60 billion, 4,400 employees and 190 apprentices.
In the economic area of Hamburg, which has approximately 3 million inhabitants, Haspa is the market leader in respect of retail banking and corporate business with small and medium-sized enterprises. For about 50 % of the people living in Hamburg it is the main bank.
Haspa has an equity capital structure of some Euro 3.7 billion at December 31, 2023 which is well above the relevant statutory requirements and represents a major security factor, particularly in view of the fact that it mainly consists of the bank's core capital (Tier I). This in itself is an important foundation for the long-term existence of our Bank.

Bond Rating
The rating agency Moody´s assigns an Aaa-rating to Haspa´s mortgage bonds. This excellent rating is based on the high quality of the premium reserve stock.
Floor Rating
